Watermark Brings Clean Water to Thousands as Xylem

As Xylem Inc. (XYL) celebrated the spin-off from ITT Corporation by ringing the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange on November 16, Xylem also marked the occasion in India by donating and installing two water towers in partnership with Planet Water Foundation and BAIF Development Research Foundation.
More than 20 Xylem employees from locations across India helped install the towers, which will deliver clean water to thousands in Madhugiri, in the Tumkur district of the Indian state of Karnataka. The towers each provide 10,000 liters of clean, filtered water per day. Together, these towers will serve almost 40,000 people every day at schools and in homes.
